MANAGERSHIP

enhancing the network

achieving compelling projects

shaping cross-disciplinary mentorships

As a self-employed curator, I operate independently – without representation – taking on multiple roles including project manager, artist agent, mediator, consultant for organisations, strategic planner, and project administrator. In addition to these, I serve as both an art critic and a catalyst for the artists I work with.

My work is guided by my curatorial vision and sensitivity, while always respecting the producer’s responsibility to meet the artists’ needs. This extends to cultural programmes, exhibitions, and collaboration with both private and institutional partners. My approach to managership mirrors my curatorship – both are forms of cultural practice that remain responsive to the evolving changes within contemporary art, societies, and cultures.

At the heart of my management style is a commitment to diversity, creativity, and participation. While curating exhibitions and collections is an important aspect of my work, I often shift my focus to nurturing individual artists and specific projects. It is from this foundation that I have realised numerous projects with a particular focus on contemporary art’s engagement with ecological and social practices, rethinking and evolving my own fieldwork.

Art managership, to me, extends beyond administrative tasks – it encompasses a broad spectrum of social practices embedded in the everyday lives of people. It offers a fresh perspective on community curatorial practices, one that re-mediates various kinds of knowledge and expertise to create meaningful, lasting impact.
